Radiologists

 

Picture Perfect Ultrasound networks with licensed physicians called Radiologists. These types of doctors specialize in medical imaging or Radiology type exams. Radiologists  interpret Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine etc.

For Picture Perfect Ultrasound patients specifically, we network with Radiologists who provide the final interpretation or "reading" of the medical-diagnostic ultrasounds we perform on a patient.  While our sonographers and staff are very skilled at doing ultrasound, all medical ultrasounds will be interpreted by a licensed physician, such as a Radiologist to create the final report.  It is this final report that your referring physician or provider will receive as "final results" of your exam.

For Picture Perfect Ultrasound, Radiologists interpret all types of diagnostic-medical ultrasound we perform for men, women & kids in our imaging center (with the exception of cardiac-heart exams). Cardiac ultrasounds are interpreted by Cardiologists that we network with.

Cardiologists

Picture Perfect Ultrasound networks with licensed heart specialists/physicians called Cardiologists. These types of doctors specialize in heart health and wellbeing and medical imaging specfically related to the heart. 

​

For Picture Perfect Ultrasound patients specifically, we network with Cardiology physicians who provide the final interpretation or "reading" of the medical-diagnostic heart ultrasounds we perform on a patient.  While our sonographers and staff are very skilled at doing ultrasound, all medical heart ultrasounds will be interpreted by a licensed physician, such as a Cardiologist to create the final report.  It is this final report that your referring physician or provider will receive as "final results" of your exam.

Billing Questions? 

​

Your ultrasound exam will be divided into two portions when it comes to billing: Picture Perfect Ultrasound does the technical component of performing your exam and so Picture Perfect Ultrasound will only bill the TC or technical piece of your exam performed. Licensed Medical physicians, called Radiologists or Cardiologists, do the interpretation or the professional component "PC and will bill you or your insurance company for the PC (Professional component) interpretation only.​
